Award Winning Bed and Breakfast

In the house are three light and airy double bedrooms from £67 to £97 per night, including Breakfast. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor and all bedrooms have wonderful views of the gardens. All rooms are en suite and one has a spa bath. Comfortable beds, TV, books, pretty cushions and original art add to the mix. An additional single bed or two can be placed in each room on request at £25 per extra bed.

The atmosphere is congenial and there’s lots of local information available to help you make the most of your visit. Alternatively just ask for suggestions. Feel at home and enjoy your stay.

You’ll find tranquillity at Iffin Farmhouse. Relax in peace on a wooden bench in a hidden place. See ponies in the paddock, an albino squirrel in the garden and hear the owls at night. Enjoy countryside views with a glimpse of the cathedral across the fields.

Delicious food

Breakfast is served in the dining room using local Kentish produce. In the evening relax in the spacious lounge where there’s a wood burning stove in the winter and comfy chairs and books and games to enjoy.

Canterbury and the surrounding villages have excellent restaurants and great pubs serving good food but if you prefer a two-course evening meal, including coffee ‘at home’ this is available on request when booking at £19.70 per adult and £10.00 per child. Vegetarians and special diets, including gluten free, are also catered for.

Iffin Farmhouse will inspire artists, writers and musicians and anyone needing space to reflect. It is an excellent base to explore the surrounding countryside and nearby coast, yet close to the city of Canterbury.

Families Welcome

As a family ourselves we welcome children of any age.

We have a cot and high chair if needed for which we make a charge of £10 per night. For a child requiring a bed and breakfast will be an extra cost of £25 per night. Our family room accommodates 2 adults and 2 children and has a large ensuite offering both a shower and bath.

For families with more than two children or parents wishing to sleep in a separate room we do have two adjacent rooms (please enquire regarding rates).

In the unfortunate situation of damage or breakage, depending upon the extent, we will charge.

Deposits

A deposit of £25 is required to guarantee a reservation. Fourteen day notice of cancellation is required for refund minus £5 administration fee per room. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival the deposit will not be refunded. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of day of booking then the fulll amount of the first night stay can be taken.

How to pay your deposit & balance

We are happy to accept Debit Card, Visa, Mastercard or electronic transfer of funds for payment of the deposit and the balance. Where possible we prefer payment by debit card. We do take  American Express but regret we have to charge an additional 10% of the total cost for administration purposes.

Check In and Departure Times

Check in is between 4 & 6 and we ask that guests vacate their rooms by 10.30 on day of departure. If you will be arriving before 4 or after 6 please let us know so that we can arrange our day accordingly.
